Amazing Nanny Needed in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, NY

A friendly and laid-back family in Greenwich Village, is looking for a caring, and responsible nanny for their two children, ages 5 yr old and 8 months. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience working with multiple children. Someone kind yet orderly that can create a safe and stimulating atmosphere for the children. (E,g, reading to children, playing with them, planning activities, coordinating family calender, keeping children active, keeping their things organized, and more.)

The nanny must be proactive, a self-starter, and know how to troubleshoot issues independently. Lastly, both parents have flexible work schedules. So, the nanny should expect both parents to go back-and-forth from their residences daily.

This position is a live-out or live in position: There are three schedule options.
Option 1: There Monday through friday, 10-12 hours days
Option 2: Live out 4 day a week, 12 hour days
Option 3: Live in Monday - Friday, 10-12 hours days

Compensation & Benefits
This position is paid gross with overtime. This position is $35-$45 per hour, PTO (e.g, paid federal holidays, two weeks of vacation, and sick days.)
A discretionary performance bonus.

Covid Risk Tolerance:
The family is open about Covid.

Start Date: Begins on asap. This is a long-term role.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of their children
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Manage daily care and supervision of their children
Adhere to their children’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups, etc.)
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, stories, puzzles, etc.)
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes
Ability to make very simple meals for their children.
Laundry for their children.
Manage all aspects of their children’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes, cleaning toys/books, diaper bags, etc.

Qualifications:
● US, Work Authorization
● Minimum of 5 years of professional Nanny experience
● Kindergarten experience
● Newborn experience
● Driver’s License
● Passport
● Up to date on all vaccinations
● Covid vaccinated and boosted
● CPR and First-Aid certifications
