
Part-time Nanny Needed for Loving family In Boston

A wonderful family in Boston, Massachusetts, is looking for an easy-going, flexible nanny for their 4-month-old son. Their son is very expressive, always smiling and looking around. The ideal nanny for this role is someone with recent infant experience, engaging, calm, and playful. The nanny should know about child development and the ability to help their son reach his developmental milestones. This position is part-time, but the family can guarantee 30-35 hours a week with the chance of increasing in the future, so flexibility is important. Also, the family has two Siamese cats, but caring for the cats is not part of the position. However, it is essential that whomever they hire is comfortable around their pets.
Start Date (Contact date): January 2023
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 30-35/hours a week.
Live-out/in: Live out.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay is $30-$40.
PTO, including paid federal holidays. There are two weeks of vacation and a discretionary performance bonus.

The family is open about Covid but asks that the applicant is up to date on vaccinations.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Comfortable educating (first-time parents) on things such as scheduling, sleep, food (introducing solids), discipline, potty training, etc. – but also respectful of and ability to adhere to our parenting decisions.
Ability to handle mother’s milk or prepare formula and sterilize bottles
Adhere to the infant's schedule, including naps/sleep, bath, and activities
Ability to change diapers and eventually potty train.
To ensure they stay stocked, keep track of children’s items (e.g., diapers, wipes, milk, etc.).
Engaged in facilitating intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, enrichment, reading, flashcards, games and active play, etc.)
Outgoing and friendly (i.e., will make friends with other nannies, arrange playdates, etc.)
Light housekeeping (e,g, emptying and loading dishwasher, cleaning up after children, doing children’s laundry.)
Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 3 years of professional Nanny experience
Minimum of 3 amazing references
Newborn experience
Up to date on all vaccinations
Covid vaccination and boosted
CPR and First-Aid certifications
