Calm and experienced live-out Nanny needed for nanny share in Prospect Heights. Both infants are 5 months Schedule is Mon-Fri from 8:30am-5:30pm. These two families are busy professionals and are looking for someone caring and loving. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail orientated, easygoing, positive, flexible, respectful, professional, and has experience with babies. Their ideal candidate has lots of experience working with infants and can bring their knowledge to the table.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
All typical nanny duties will involve everything pertaining to the babies; feedings, diaper changes, the babies laundry, nap routines, keeping track of babies items to ensure they stay stocked, planning engaging and age-appropriate activities, and eventually potty training!
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of children’s spaces,
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Adhere to children’s schedule, including naps/sleep and activities
Organize calendar arranging independently for routine playdates, outings, etc Implement regularly and independently children’s educational and developmental activities
Facilitate intellectual development (eg. words, numbers, enrichment, etc)
Facilitate physical development (eg. running, stacking, using utensils, etc) in a high-energy, creative and playful way
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates
Manage all aspects of children’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization – including, meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes, cleaning toys/books, diaper bag, etc.
This is a full-time live-out position with the general schedule falling on Mondays through Fridays from 8:30am – 5:30pm with additional opportunities for overtime earnings available with advanced notice
Start date for this position is as soon as the family finds the right fit. This is a long-term position.
Compensation:
$25-27/hr. GROSS. Paid Holiday, Monthly MetroCard
Qualifications
Experience with infants a must
Infant/Child CPR and First-Aid certifications
Comfortable getting Covid-19 test
