Live-in Nanny for a high net worth family
Caring live-in to live out nanny Nanny needed for 2.5 years old and eventually a newborn in Long Island. The family will be returning to the city in the fall. This position would be split with another nanny. Schedule is Mon-Fri from 8:00am-7:00pm or Sat/Sun 9-5pm. Mom and dad are busy professionals and are looking for someone loving and experienced. The ideal candidate is going to be engaged from the moment they meet the toddle. A person who is energetic, positive, engaged, loves to read, professional, and has experience with babies. The family wants someone who is a great caregiver, reliable, and will create a stimulating environment for their children.

This is a full-time live-in position till the fall. It will be live-out in the fall.
The schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 am-7 pm.
Housing Details
You will have a private room in the family's home or in the pool house. You have a private bathroom.
Traveling Details
Not much traveling now due to covid
Compensation & Benefits
All positions are paid gross with overtime. This position is $32-$35hour, plus overtime after 44 hours while living in. There is a $200 stipend for days off while living in. A $300 healthcare stipend, and PTO, and Paid federal holidays. There are 2 weeks of vacation and an annual bonus.
Start Date: The position will begin as soon as the family finds the right fit for their parenting team. This is a long-term role and the position starts as soon as the family can find the right candidate.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of children
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Cooks for baby and preps meals for the family
Active engagement and research with work-at-home parents
our typical nanny duties will involve everything pertaining to the baby; feedings, diaper changes, baby laundry, nap routine, keeping track of baby items to ensure they stay stocked, planning engaging and age-appropriate activities, and eventually potty training!
Manage daily care and supervision of infant
Feed, bathe, change, and dress infant
Adhere to children’s schedule, including naps/sleep and activities
Organize calendar arranging independently for routine playdates, outings, etc Implement regularly and independently children’s educational and developmental activities
Facilitate intellectual development (eg. words, numbers, enrichment, etc)
Facilitate physical development (eg. running, stacking, using utensils, etc) in a high-energy, creative, and playful way
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates
Manage all aspects of children’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization – including, meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes, cleaning toys/books, diaper bag, etc.
Qualifications
Must swim- the family has a pool
Must drive- family can provide care
Experience with infants a must
5+ years of strong professional nanny experience
Comfortable cooking
Infant/Child CPR and First-Aid certifications
Must take Covid very seriously
Comfortable getting Covid-19 test and vaccinations.
Huge plus if you speak Slovic or Mandarin
