New Rochelle Nanny and Household Manager
A loving, busy family is looking for a proactive and developmentally focused nanny for their family. This family of 7 has five children under 8 and two dogs. So there is never a dull moment. The primary role will include care of the 3 older children as well as some household management tasks.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is passionate about childcare and is organized so that they can help with household tasks. This role will grow from less childcare to more household management as children get older. So this is a long-term role. You are trustworthy and reliable. Have experience with multiple kids. Someone who is a self-starter and knows how to troubleshoot issues on their own. The family is also hoping to find someone with a great spirit, enjoys music, and is creative. A background in early childhood education is always great, however, the ability to make everyday interactions a learning experience is important.

This is a full-time, live-out position or live-in position.
The schedule is Monday through Friday 11:00 am-7 pm. If living in, you have the option to work morning from 7-9 and then 1-7 pm. Additional hours may be required with advance notice. So ideal a candidate who is flexible.

Compensation & Benefits
All positions are paid gross with overtime. This position is $25-$35hour, or $$65-85k gross+K/year in annualized earnings, in addition to relocation assistance, a healthcare stipend, and PTO, and Paid federal holidays. There are 2 weeks of vacation and a discretionary performance bonus.

Start Date: The position will begin as soon as the family finds the right fit for their parenting team. This is a long-term role and the position starts as soon as the family can find the right candidate.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Care for 2-3 children at a time to supplement 60hr/wk primary caregiver; primary focus on older 3 children including pick-up/drop-offs for school and activities, homework support, reading, virtual learning support (if needed), piano practice
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of children
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Cooks for children and preps meals for the family. Mainly dinner preparation,
Feed, bathe, change, and dress children
Adhere to children’s schedule, including naps/sleep and activities
Organize calendar arranging independently for routine playdates, outings, etc Implement regularly and independently children’s educational and developmental activities
Facilitate intellectual development (eg. words, numbers, enrichment, etc)
Facilitate physical development (eg. running, stacking, using utensils, etc) in a high-energy, creative, and playful way
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates
Manage all aspects of children’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization – including, meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes, cleaning toys/books, diaper bag, etc.
light household support--cleanup, kid laundry, kid-vehicle cleanliness, occasional pet care (no walking)
Household management-coordinate across other vendors and future staff, monitor a regular list of maintenance activities, and ensure timely and appropriate completion.

At least 4 years of professional full-time or part-time childcare experience
Comfortable cooking children
CPR and First-Aid certifications
Comfortable getting Covid-19 test
