Outgoing, Tech Savvy Nanny Needed For Family In Oakland, California
A laid-back family of four is looking for an outgoing, experienced nanny to join their family. They have two children, a 1-year-old boy, and a 3.5-year-old girl. Their daughter is very outgoing. She loves learning. She is fascinated with learning how plants grow, bugs, and all things space. She enjoys reading about things she finds interesting. Their son is very happy and loves his trucks and trains. The ideal person for this role is someone who can incorporate all of their favorite things into a productive day. The nanny should have recent experience with toddlers and preschoolers. The family is also interested to see if they can find a candidate who can bring a unique skill set to this role. If you speak a second language or play an instrument, this is a huge plus.

The family is hoping to have an amazing nanny join their family February 2023.
Monday-Friday, from 8:30 am - 6:30 pm
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay is $35-$45, which is an annualized base compensation of 97k - 125k. (Higher compensation is in accordance with experience.)
PTO, including paid federal holidays. There are two weeks of vacation and a discretionary performance bonus.

The family is open about Covid but asks that the applicant is up to date on vaccinations.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of the children
Light housekeeping (e,g, emptying and loading dishwasher, cleaning up after children, doing children laundry.)
Ability to change diapers and eventually potty train.
To ensure they stay stocked, keep track of children’s items (e.g., diapers, wipes, milk, toys etc.).
Engaged in facilitating intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, enrichment, reading, flashcards, games and active play, etc.)
Will find activities in the neighborhood to suggest, for example, classes or playgroups.
Outgoing and friendly (i.e., will make friends with other nannies, arrange playdates, etc.)
Ability to make school lunches and very simple meals for the children
Adhere to the children’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups, any afterschool activities, etc.)
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 3 years of Professional Nanny Experience
Minimum of 3 amazing references
Experience with multiple children
Valid Driver’s License
Up to date on all vaccinations
Covid vaccination and boosted
CPR and First-Aid certifications
