A wonderful Palm Beach, Florida family, seeks a live-in nanny for their 5-month-old. Ideally, they would love a professional and polished nanny who has experienced caring for infants. Someone who is caring, honest, clean & organized, healthy, and knows how to swim. The ideal candidate is someone who is interested in child development and genuinely loves engaging with children. The family has a very playful Pekingese, So someone comfortable around dogs.
Job Details
This position is a Live-in position
The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 AM - 6 PM. Someone flexible would be ideal, as parent’s schedules may vary from time to time.
A car will be provided for on-the-job use.
This is a staffed home. You must be a team player.
Live-in
You will have a private room in the family's home. You have a private bathroom.
Compensation & Benefits
All positions are paid gross with overtime. This position is $25-$30 an hour. Contribution towards health insurance.
Paid Travel with family, Paid Vacation, Major Holidays Off, Tuition Reimbursement for Child-related courses.
Start Date: This is a long-term role, and they are looking for someone to start in mid-May. However, the family is looking for the right fit and would start someone asap.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first—always.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of children
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Feedings infant, changing diapers, dressing them, doing children’s laundry
Keeping track of baby items to ensure they stay stocked, planning engaging and age-appropriate activities, and eventually potty training!
Facilitate intellectual development (eg. words, reading, numbers, enrichment, etc)
Facilitate physical development (eg. running, stacking, using utensils, etc) in a high-energy, creative, and playful way
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates
Manage all aspects of an infant's property with utmost cleanliness and organization – including, meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes, cleaning toys/books, diaper bag, sanitizing bottles/sippy cups, etc.
And very light housework around the house such as taking the trash out and putting the dirty dishes in the dishwasher/s and or taking the clean dishes out of the dishwasher/s and putting it in the appropriate places.
Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Must drive with a valid and clean license
Minimum of 4-years of professional full-time or part-time childcare experience
Infant experience
Covid Vaccinated
CPR and First-Aid certifications
Must take Covid very seriously
Pet friendly
Swimmer
