Engaging and resourceful live-out Nanny needed for 3-year-old and 10 weeks old
The schedule is 40 hours a week Mon-Fri from 9 am-5 pm but may change. These changes are known weeks in advance. These two dads are busy professionals and are looking for someone who loves the outdoorsy, is energetic, and engaging. The ideal candidate is also detail orientated, easygoing, positive, flexible, respectful, professional, and has experience with babies. The family wants someone who doesn’t mind taking safe walks in the park while discussing the world with their daughter. Someone focused and limits cell phone use. The children will not watch screens in the nanny’s care.

The schedule is 40 hours a week Mon-Fri from 9 am-5 pm but may change with advanced notice. So flexibility is very important.
Compensation & Benefits
All positions are paid gross with overtime. This position is $24-$26 an hour. PTO and Paid federal holidays, Monthly MetroCard Major Holidays Off, Sick/Mental Health/Personal Days, Paid Vacation, Bonus, Tuition Reimbursement for Child-related course
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Working well with same-sex dads and their children
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of children
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
light housekeeping related to children only
Your typical nanny duties will involve everything pertaining to the children; feedings, diaper changes, children's laundry, nap routine, keeping track of children's items to ensure they stay stocked, planning engaging and age-appropriate activities, and eventually potty training!
Manage daily care and supervision of infant and toddler
Feed, bathe, change, and dress infant and toddler
Adhere to children’s schedule, including naps/sleep and activities
Organize calendar arranging independently for routine playdates, outings, etc Implement regularly and independently children’s educational and developmental activities
Facilitate intellectual development (eg. words, numbers, enrichment, etc)
Facilitate physical development (eg. running, stacking, using utensils, etc) in a high-energy, creative, and playful way
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates
Manage all aspects of children’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization – including, meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes, cleaning toys/books, diaper bag, etc.
Qualifications
Comfortable working with a toddler with a nut allergy
US, Work Authorization and comfortable working completely on the books.
At least 4 years of professional full-time or part-time childcare experience
Comfortable cooking children
CPR and First-Aid certifications
Comfortable getting Covid-19 test
