A wonderful, professional family in Princeton, New Jersey, is looking for an amazing nanny for their 22-month-old daughter. Their daughter is described as being curious about the world around her and enjoys interacting with people. The family is looking for a candidate that is enthusiastic about childcare. Someone who loves what they do and can implement fun activities such as outdoor activities, reading books and singing with their daughter.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is punctual, consistent and college-educated. Someone who is a self-starter and knows how to troubleshoot issues on their own. The candidate must also know how to drive. If you do not own a car, the family is happy to provide a car for the nanny to use.
Job Detail (Position detail can change as the family works out their needs)
This position is full-time, live out position:
The schedule Mondays - Friday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.
Must be covid vaccinated, and already boosted or with plans to be boosted.
Compensation & Benefits
All positions are paid gross with overtime. This position is $30-$43 hour, 80k-90k (DOE) and PTO [Paid federal holidays, 2 weeks of vacation one week overlapping with family, and sick days] and a discretionary performance bonus.
Start Date: This is a long-term role, and the position starts as soon as the family can find the right candidate.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Pitch-in attitude regarding any issues or tasks related to daughter.
Cook and prepare healthy meals and snacks for their daughter
Adhere to their daughter’s schedule, including naps/sleep and activities
Picking daughters up from school.
Manage all aspects of their daughter’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization – including, meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes, cleaning toys/books, etc.
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g. reading, spelling, numbers, arts and crafts, enrichment, etc)
Facilitate physical development (e.g. running, climbing, stacking, using utensils, etc) in a high-energy, creative and playful way
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates
Organize a calendar, arrange outings, etc.
Active engagement and clear communication with work-at-home parents
Embraces family parenting style
US Work Authorization
Associate degree or Higher
A plus if you speak a Foreign Language
Plus is Nanny has a background in early childhood education and / or toddler, pre-k
child-related housekeeping and meal prep
At least 3 years of professional full-time or part-time childcare experience
Comfortable cooking for their daughter
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable getting Covid-19 tested, vaccinated, and willing to get the booster
Passionate about childcare
