
Live-In Nanny Needed for Family on the UES
Upper East Side, Manhattan
A laid-back, busy family on the Upper East Side is looking for a fun, kind, and organized experience nanny for their 14-month-old son. Their son is described as sweet, energetic, and curious about his surroundings. He enjoys doing activities and being engaged with them.
The ideal candidate for this position is proactive, caring, and great with toddlers. The family is looking for a candidate that can encourage all his interests and engages with their son. Someone patient, a self-starter, and knows how to troubleshoot issues independently. This position is live-in (5-7 days) or out. Although driving isn’t a prerequisite, if you are a driver, having a clean driving record is preferred. The family will provide a car for the nanny if needed.

This position is a live-in position:
The schedule is full-time. Monday - Friday, 40-50 hours a week
Must be covid vaccinated and already boosted or with plans to be boosted.
Traveling Details
This position requires traveling. Despite covid, the family still travels a few times a year.
Compensation & Benefits
This position is $1650 NET a week, and PTO [7 Paid federal holidays, 2 weeks of vacation, one week overlapping with family, and 3 sick days] and a discretionary performance bonus.

Start Date: This is a long-term role, and the position starts as soon as the family can find the right candidate.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Primary Responsibilities:
Cook and prepare healthy meals and snacks for their son
Adhere to their son’s schedule, including naps/sleep and activities
Manage all aspects of their son’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization – including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes, cleaning toys/books, etc.
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g., reading, spelling, numbers, arts and crafts, enrichment, etc.)
Facilitate physical development (e.g., running, climbing, stacking, using utensils, etc.) in a high-energy, creative, and playful way.
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates
Organize calendar, arrange outings, etc.
Embraces family parenting style
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of their son
Qualifications
US Work Authorization
Driver’s license
Light Housekeeping
At least 3 years of professional full-time or part-time childcare experience
Comfortable cooking for their son
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable getting Covid-19 tested, vaccinated, and willing to get the booster.
