You must genuinely enjoy spending time with young children and understand how important it is to communicate with children in a way that supports their little minds and stimulates thought and independence.  A creative personality with a firm and directive approach will be the key to a successful relationship within this family.



This position is a live-out position ( Summer Live-in in Hampton, NY: review housing details)

  • This is a full-time, live-out position.

  • The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am-6pm. This is a fully-staff home. Family goes to the Hamptons in the summer. You will be required to travel to the Hamptons for 3-4 days a week M-F.

Compensation & Benefits

  • All positions are paid gross with overtime. This position is an annualized salary of 70k-85k  with competitive gross annualized earnings, Healthcare contribution, and PTO, and Paid federal holidays. There are 2 weeks of vacation.

  • Private room

Start Date: This is a long-term role and the position is for an immediate start.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of children’s spaces

  • Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style

  • Feed, bathe, change, and dress Preschooler.

  • Adhere to the child’s schedule, including naps/sleep and activities

  • Implement regularly and independently children’s educational and developmental activities

  • Facilitate intellectual development (eg. numbers, puzzles, enrichment, etc)

  • Facilitate physical development (eg. running, dancing) in a high-energy, creative, and playful way

  • Facilitate social development

  • Manage all aspects of children’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization – including, meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes, cleaning toys/books, diaper bag, etc.

  • Meal prep for children and ensuring that they eat healthy meals. Must be able to cook or follow recipes to create a meal.

Qualifications:

US, Work Authorization

Minimum of 5-years of professional full-time or part-time childcare experience

Preschool Age experience

CPR and First-Aid certifications

Must take Covid very seriously

Vaccinated
