In Wyckoff, NJ, a wonderful family is looking for a warm, engaging, and developmentally focused nanny for their 7, 4, and 19 month-old. Ideally, they would love a nanny who is experienced. Someone energetic, warm, kind, experienced, detail-oriented, responsible, and creative. Primarily engaging the children with play and promoting social and emotional development. Assisting in distance learning, transporting to/from school and to afternoon activities, meal prep, and feeding, light housekeeping, bathing Both parents are physicians, so they need a nanny who is going to be dependable.
A strong, loving, hardworking, patient, and smart nanny will excel in this role.
Job Detail
This position is a live-out position: (two schedules available)
This is a full-time, live-out position.
Two Schedule
Schedule 1: The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 11:30 am-6:30 pm. (35/hrs work weeks) Additional hours can be added on Saturday to make it 40 hrs. So ideal a candidate who is flexible.
Schedule 2:The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 am-6 pm (50 hrs)
Nanny must have a valid driver’s license and their own vehicle to get to work
Compensation & Benefits
All positions are paid gross with overtime. This position is $25-$29 an hour. In addition, there is PTO and Paid federal holidays. Paid vacation, Tuition Reimbursement for Child-related course, Mileage Reimbursement for on-the-job transportation.
Start Date: The position will begin as soon as the family finds the right fit for their parenting team. This is a long-term role, and the position starts as soon as the family can find the right candidate.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first—always.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of infant
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Bottle feedings, diaper changes, baby’s laundry, keeping track of baby items to ensure they stay stocked, planning engaging and age-appropriate activities, and eventually potty training!
Manage daily care and supervision of children
Supervise remote/distant learning
Adhere to the children’s schedule, including naps/sleep and activities
Facilitate intellectual development (eg. words, numbers, enrichment, etc)
Facilitate physical development (eg. running, stacking, using utensils, etc) in a high-energy, creative, and playful way
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates
Manage all aspects of children’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization – including, meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes, cleaning toys/books, diaper bag, etc.
Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Must drive with a valid and clean license
Minimum of 4-years of professional full-time or part-time childcare experience
Infant experience
A valid driver’s license
CPR and First-Aid certifications
Must take Covid very seriously
Comfortable getting Covid-19 test and vaccinations.
Flu and T-Dap Vaccination may be required as well.
