Part-time Nanny Needed in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY

Laid-back family in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, is looking for a part-time nanny for their toddler. Their daughter is 20 months old, and is described to be happy, excitable and loves books and going to the playground. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who will enjoy reading, and playing with their daughter as well as bringing her outdoors and socializing with friends.

The mom works from home, and because of this, she would like someone who can come in and take charge. Their nanny should also be loving, punctual, patient, proactive and knows how to troubleshoot issues on their own. Lastly, the family has a small pug, so someone is comfortable around dogs.

Job Detail (Position detail can change as family works out their needs)

This position is a part-time, live-out:
The schedule is Monday - Friday, from 2 pm - 7 pm, (25-hours a week)
Must be covid vaccinated and already boosted or with plans to be boosted.


Compensation & Benefits
All positions are paid gross with overtime. This position is $35 an hour, and PTO [Federal Holidays, One weeks of vacation, 3 Sick days] monthly metrocard.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: All child-care related duties.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of toddler’s space
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Implement regularly and independently child educational and developmental activities
Facilitate intellectual development (eg. words, numbers, enrichment, etc)
Facilitate physical development (eg. running, stacking, using utensils, etc) in a high-energy, creative, and playful way
Facilitate social development
Take child to outdoor activities
Manage all aspects of children’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization – including, meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes, cleaning toys/books, diaper bag, etc.

Requirements & Qualifications:
Passionate about childcare
US Work Authorization
At least 3 years of professional full-time or part-time childcare experience
Comfortable cooking for child
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable getting Covid-19 tested, vaccinated, and willing to get the booster.
CPR & First Aid Certified
