OUR APPLICANT SCREENING PROCESS

Work History

We provide the candidate’s work history, allowing you to discover previous employers’ names, phone numbers and occupations, as well as details about the position the nanny held. The nanny’s responsibilities, dates of employment, ages of the children cared for and the reason the position ended are also included.

Work Authorization

With copies of your candidate’s driver’s license and Social Security card on file, you’ll feel safe and secure whenever you choose one of our childcare providers. We also require proof that they’re able to legally work in the United States.

Multi-State Court Search

We can confirm your candidate has no criminal records on file with our multi-state search. Our search includes criminal convictions, arrests, sex offender registries, department of corrections and traffic and administrative court records from across the United States. We then provide you with any information that matches the nanny candidate you are considering.

Identity Verification Report

We use the name, address, date of birth, and Social Security Number supplied by the candidate to verify the accuracy of the information provided and to identify potential fraud. With this report, the results of a Social Security Trace and National Fugitive Search are included.

Motor Vehicle/Driving Record (MVR) Reports

We can assess a candidate’s driving history from the motor vehicle record search.

We begin screening nannies before we meet them. We require an online application and resume submission as a first step. From there we conduct a phone screen, make an online presence analysis and check the court system for any infractions. We then invite selected candidates to complete a series of essay questions which read as an “interview on paper”. From there we invite the candidate in for a personal or video meeting. During this indepth interview, we learn about the nannies employment history, childcare philosophies and ideal family. We collect copies of identification and work authorization documents. We then begin checking the references of the candidate. We we are unsure of a reference, we use a PI to help verify validity.  We make sure the applicants is up to date on their CPR. If a candidate matches your search. We create a profile which includes photos (with candidates permission) and work history.

We screen the candidates background to the greatest extent allowable by the Fair Labor & Credit Reporting Act which includes:

 

  • Statewide Criminal Background Report in all states lived

  • Driving Record Report

  • Social Security Number Trace

  • National Sex Offender Registry Clearance

  • Education/Degree Verification
