A loving family in San Diego, CA, is looking for an amazing, experienced nanny for their two children, ages two and an infant expected in November. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has worked with newborns and toddlers. Someone capable of producing a safe yet stimulating atmosphere for each child.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is a kid at heart (e.g., can be goofy and sing silly songs.) Someone calm, collected, loving, positive, communicative, honest, respectful, mindful, and genuinely enjoys being part of their lives. They would love for their nanny to be able to recognize and expand the children's curiosity/interests through conversations and activities. They are looking for a self-starter but also a team player. A nanny who can work side by side with the parents – inserting as needed and being able to pivot and be flexible with them. Someone who can sit down and review the children's day, communicate, and strategize with the parents so that everyone is consistent with the parenting styles.
This position is Full-time, live-out only: (40 hours a week). Additional hours may be required with notice. So, an ideal candidate is someone who is flexible.
Pet Care:
The family has a Golden Poodle. Your task would be to feed and walk the dog occasionally.
Compensation and Benefits:
• This position is paid gross plus overtime. This position is $30-$40 per hour, PTO (e.g, paid federal holidays, two weeks of vacation, and sick days).
• A discretionary performance bonus.

Start Date: Begins on 08/14/2023. This is a medium-term role.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Safety first.
• Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of their children
• Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style.
• Manage daily care and supervision of their children.
• Keep track of daily inventory (formula, diapers, wipes, primary groceries...) and letting us know when we need to restock
• Weekly creative/healthy meal planning for children (not just simple meals), occasional grocery shopping
• Weekly plan for creative/stimulating activities (art, science experiments, music...)
• Helping a few days a week with overnights - a huge plus but not required.
• Must be extremely organized, punctual, and thorough, (keeping children’s area clean and organized.)
• Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes.
• Laundry for their children.
Qualifications:
• US, Work Authorization
• Minimum of 5 years of professional Nanny experience
• Newborn and toddler experience
• Minimum bachelor’s degree
• CRP certification
• Clean background
• Bilingual (a plus but not required)
• Can play an instrument(s ) — a plus but not required
• Extremely organized, punctual, and thorough
• Basic Tech Savvy
• Driver’s License
• Must know how to swim
• Up to date on all vaccinations
• COVID vaccination and boosted.
