Part-time Nanny Needed for infant in Livingston, NJ

Families Location: Livingston, NJ
Number of children and Age: 1 child, 11-month-old daughter.
Type of Position: Part-time, live-out.
Schedule: Thursday/Friday + Saturday or Sunday. 9h/days (27-hrs a week.)
Compensation & benefits: $35-$45 an hour. ($45+ for someone with a Montessori background) DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, 6 federal holidays and 5 sick days.).
Start Date: ASAP
Travel Required: No.

Family Overview:
A warm and loving family in Livingston, NJ is seeking a gentle, patient, and experienced nanny to care for their 11-month-old daughter. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infant care, understands early language development, early childhood education, and ideally has knowledge of the Montessori approach.

The family values a nurturing and engaging caregiver who can create safe, stimulating activities to support their daughter’s growth and curiosity. They are looking for someone warm, knowledgeable, and highly organized, who respects and supports their parenting style.

While not required, the ability to prepare simple meals for their daughter and familiarity with Montessori principles are considered a plus.


Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Prioritize safety while adhering to the families' parenting styles and childcare philosophies.
Engage their daughter in activities that promote intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts, and encourage social interaction through playdates and group activities.
Assist with bath times and changing clothes.
Ability to sleep training
Ability to later on help with weaning off the pacifier and potty training.
Assist with light housekeeping, clean dishes, organizing their daughter's room and play area, diaper bag, bottle and pacifiers sterilizing/cleaning is needed.
Perform related duties such as laundry, tidying the child's areas, organizing toys and books, and maintaining diaper bags.

Qualifications:
US Work authorization
A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience.
Experience in caring for infants and toddlers
Being able to cook simple meals is a bonus
Familiarity with Montessori principles is a plus
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
