Families Location: Vero Beach, FL
Number of children and Age: 2 children, 10-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son.
Type of Position: Full time, Live out. Must be flexible.
Schedule: Monday-Friday (40 hours a week.).
Compensation & benefits: $35-$40/hr. DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, federal holidays and sick days.).
Start Date: 02/27/2026.
Travel Required: Yes.
Additional info: The family has a pet dog.

Family Overview:
A warm and loving family of four in beautiful Vero Beach, FL is seeking a kind, proactive, and organized Family Assistant to become an important part of their home. This role includes safely transporting the children to and from school and activities, helping with homework and projects, and preparing meals tailored to the children’s specific dietary needs and health considerations. The ideal candidate enjoys being hands-on, communicative, and nurturing while supporting school-age children with structure, care, and positivity.

This family maintains a very clean, tidy, and well-organized household and is hoping to find someone who takes pride in creating that same calm, welcoming environment. Light housekeeping, family’s laundry, organizing, meal prep, and errands are part of the daily rhythm. They are looking for someone responsible, detail-oriented, and intuitive — someone who can read the room, anticipate needs, and jump in wherever support is needed with a warm heart and positive attitude.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare & Family Support
Provide attentive, age-appropriate care for two school-age children (approximately 7–10 years old)
Safely drive children to and from school, activities, appointments, and playdates
Coordinate after-school schedules, extracurricular activities, and social engagements
Assist with homework, projects, and daily routines
Prepare gluten free meals for their children and snacks for children
Support emotional well-being and help foster independence and responsibility
Communicate regularly with parents regarding schedules, needs, and updates

Household Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for household vendors and service providers (cleaners, contractors, landscapers, etc.)
Schedule and oversee maintenance, repairs, and home projects
Manage package deliveries, returns, and general household organization
Keep household calendars up to date, including appointments and activities
Maintain inventory of household supplies and manage restocking
Able to house or Pet sit when family is away
Laundry for the household
Help organize closets, play areas, and common spaces, keeping the kitchen clean
Run errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and returns
Assist with family travel preparation and packing as needed
Anticipate family needs and proactively problem-solve
Create systems to keep the home running efficiently


Qualifications:
United States Work Authorization.
A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience.
Experience in caring for school age children.
Must have a driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Must be able to make gluten free meals for their children.
CPR and First-Aid certifications
