A loving, private family on the Upper East Side, in Manhattan, is looking for a full-time nanny for their family. They have two children, a 5-year-boy and 6-month-old daughter. Family is hoping to find a nanny who has experience with multiple children with similar age games. Their son is extremely sweet and so they want to make sure the nanny they hire can share her attention for both children and not just the infant.
The ideal candidate for this position is a nanny who is very passionate about childcare and child development. Loves engaging with children whether it is playing with them, reading to them and taking them on fun adventures. Their nanny should also be punctual, patient, and a self-starter and knows how to troubleshoot issues on their own. Family has a cat, so the nanny must be comfortable in a household with cats.
Job Detail (Position detail can change as family works out their needs)
This position is a full-time, live-out:
The schedule is Monday - Friday, from 8 am - 6 pm
Must be covid vaccinated and already boosted or with plans to be boosted.
Compensation & Benefits
All positions are paid gross with overtime. This position is $30 - $35 an hour, and PTO [Federal Holidays, two weeks paid vacation, 6 Sick days] monthly metrocard.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: All child-care-related duties.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of children’s space
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Implement regularly and independently child educational and developmental activities
Cook and clean up after children
Evening Bathtime routine.
Facilitate intellectual development with infant (eg. words, numbers, enrichment, etc)
Facilitate physical development with infant (eg. running, stacking, using utensils, etc) in a high-energy, creative, and playful way
Facilitate social development
After School pick up of older children.
Take children to outdoor activities
Potty training of infant
Laundry, and folding children's clothes and keeping the children's area organized.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Passionate about childcare
US Work Authorization
At least 3 years of professional full-time or part-time childcare experience
Comfortable cooking for child
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable getting Covid-19 tested, vaccinated, and willing to get the booster.
CPR & First Aid Certified
