A wonderful, professional family on the Upper East Side, is looking for an amazing nanny for their 2 ½-year-old daughter. Their daughter is described as being curious about the world around her and enjoys interacting with people. The family is looking for a candidate that is enthusiastic about childcare. Someone who loves what they do and can implement fun activities such as outdoor activities, reading books, and singing with their daughter.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is punctual, consistent, and college-educated. Someone who is a self-starter and knows how to troubleshoot issues on their own. The candidate must also know how to drive. If you do not own a car, the family is happy to provide a car for the nanny to use.

This position is live-out with hybrid potential:
The schedule is Monday through Friday.
For the month of August, the schedule is from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (40 hours a week).
Afterward, the schedule will be from 10:30 am - 6:30 pm (40 hours a week).
Additional hours may be required with notice. So, an ideal candidate who is flexible.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position is paid gross with overtime. This position is $35-$45 per hour, PTO (e.g, paid federal holidays, two weeks of vacation, and sick days.)
A discretionary performance bonus.

Covid Risk Tolerance:
The family is open about Covid.

Start Date: Begins in early August. This is a long-term role.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of their child
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style.
Manage daily care and supervision of their child.
Adhere to their child’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups, and any plan playdates and after-school activities.)
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, stories, puzzles, overlooking any schoolwork, etc.)
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes.
Ability to plan fun activities, keeping their child active and engage.
Ability to make very simple meals for their child.
Laundry for their child.
Manage all aspects of their child’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes after laundry, cleaning toys/books, diaper bags, etc.

Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 5 years of professional Nanny experience
Associate’s degree or Higher
Foreign Language
Light Housekeeping
Driver’s License
Up to date on all vaccinations
Covid vaccination and boosted.
CPR and First-Aid certifications
