A Loving & Intellectual Family Is Seeking An Engaging And Patient Nanny.

A loving family in San Diego, California, is seeking a full-time Nanny for the family. The family has 3 children, 7, 4, and 2 years of age. Older children are in school until 3 pm, so they are looking for a nanny to care for the 2-year-old and the children when home from school. The ideal candidate is a multi-tasker that will use their initiative, be a great communicator, follow directions, has an eye for detail, and works well within a team.

A warm, patient, organized and engaging candidate with a background in early childhood, or child development would excel in this role. The start date for the role is as soon as the family finds the best fit.
Residency in the US is essential (US citizen with a valid passport or a green card holder). Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. A family car is provided while on the job.

Job Detail (Position detail can change as family works out their needs)

This position is a full-time, live-out:
The schedule is Monday - Friday, from 8:00 PM- 6:00 PM
Must be covid vaccinated and already boosted or with plans to be boosted.


Compensation & Benefits
All positions are paid gross with overtime. This position is $30-$40 an hour, and PTO [7 Paid federal holidays, 2 weeks of vacation, one week overlapping with family, and 3 sick days] and a discretionary performance bonus.


Start Date: May start, however the family will hire sooner.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Primary responsibility is caring for the 3, children and all related aspects for about 50 hours a week.
Some duties include but are not limited to laundry, organization, food prep, cooking, restocking and ordering, prepping for short- or long-term travel, creating and maintaining sleeping and eating schedules, educating parents on new products and toys, and fill-in support on children’s needs, etc.).
Maintain knowledge of all the phases of childhood development from infancy through school-age.
Plan entertaining games, arts and crafts projects, and activities to stimulate a children's learning, imagination, and development.
Implement outdoor play and other physical activities.
Monitor the development of fine motor and sensory skills.
Help with speech and language acquisition.
Aid in the development of interpersonal relationships with siblings and peers.
Follow and contribute to household protocols.
Prepare the children for all travel.
Assist with special events such as birthday parties and family functions.
Help with straightening up on days when house cleaners are not around.

Qualifications
Passionate about childcare
US Work Authorization
At least 3 years of professional full-time or part-time childcare experience
Comfortable cooking for children
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable getting Covid-19 tested, vaccinated, and willing to get the booster
CPR & First Aid Certified
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
