A Warm Loving Family on the Upper West Side Seeks Amazing Nanny

A warm, loving family on UWS, is looking for a lovely nanny for their two boys, ages 4 and 6. Although both boys are in school, and will be in camp over the summer, still this is a full-time position. They are looking for someone who can come in, feed the boys and get them ready, take them to school/camp, come home and organize their things, and ensure groceries and other household products are in stock. Their nanny will be in charge of keeping track of children's schedules (e.g., school events, dr. appointments, playdates, and aftershock school activities, making sure to enroll children in activities they enjoy.) Pick children up from school/camp, take them to after-school activities, and then home for dinner and evening routines.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone tech-savvy and able to take the initiative to schedule classes and appointments for the children. Both parents work full-time, so they need someone who is proactive and knows how to troubleshoot issues independently.

Start Date As soon as they find an amazing nanny join their family.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, or 9am - 7 pm

Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay is $30-$35
PTO, including paid federal holidays. There are two weeks of vacation and a discretionary performance bonus.
Negotiable Health Care Stipend

Covid Risk Tolerance:
The family is open about Covid but asks that the applicant is up to date on vaccinations.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Getting the kids ready in the morning.
Adhere to the children’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups, any afterschool activities, etc.)
Light housekeeping (e,g, emptying and loading dishwasher, cleaning up after children, doing children laundry.)
Ability to make school lunches and very simple meals for the children
To ensure they stay stocked, keep track of children’s items (e.g., food, backpacks, books, toys, kids schedule, etc.).
Outgoing and friendly (i.e., will make friends with other nannies, arrange playdates, etc.)
Ability
Must be tech-savvy and able to take the initiative to schedule classes and appointments for the children.
Driving children to and from activities

Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 3 years of Professional Nanny Experience
Minimum of 3 amazing references
Up to date on all vaccinations
Covid vaccination and boosted
CPR and First-Aid certifications
