Family Location: Upper West Side, New York, NY
Number of children and Age: 1 child, 16-month-old daughter.
Type of Position: Full-time, Live out.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, (4-days) 40-hours a week,
Compensation & benefits: $30-$35 DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, 6 federal holidays and 5 sick days.).
Start Date: 09/14/2026.

A loving family in the Upper West Side, New York, NY, is seeking an exceptional, nurturing, and active nanny to care for their 16-month-old daughter. The ideal candidate is engaging, communicative, and experienced with expressive toddlers—someone who loves getting out and about, planning fun and developmentally appropriate activities, organizing playdates and outings, and creating a warm, playful environment while maintaining a consistent daily routine. They’re looking for someone who will genuinely connect with their daughter, encourage her curiosity, and bring positive energy to each day.
In addition to providing attentive childcare, the nanny will help keep the household running smoothly with tasks such as managing the child’s schedule, occasional errands, family laundry, dishes, meal preparation, and light tidying. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who is organized, calm, dependable, and happy to take initiative as part of the family’s day-to-day routine.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Providing attentive care for the family’s 16-month-old daughter, including engaging in age-appropriate play, activities, and outings
Maintaining the child’s daily routine, including meals, naps, and developmental activities
Planning fun and enriching activities that encourage learning and creativity
Preparing vegetarian meals and snacks for their daughter (and occasionally assisting with family meal prep)
Child laundry and keeping the child’s spaces tidy and organized.
Light household support such as tidying common areas, unloading/loading the dishwasher, and general organization
Running occasional errands (groceries, pickups, etc.)
Helping keep the household running smoothly while offering extra support to the family during this time.
Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience.
Experience in caring for Infants and toddlers.
Up-to-date vaccinations (Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
