Type of Position: Full-Time, Live-In Travel Nanny
Schedule: Full-time. Schedule to be discussed with the family. Candidates must be flexible and comfortable working evenings, weekends, holidays, travel days, and accommodating last-minute schedule adjustments as needed.
Compensation & Benefits: Salary $175k-$250k, paid vacations, PTO and provide a healthcare stipend
Start Date: as soon as they find the right fit for their family.
Travel Required: Yes. Extensive domestic travel throughout New York, Florida, and Southampton, with potential international travel. A valid passport is required.

Living Arrangements
This is a live-in travel position. The nanny will reside wherever the children are residing throughout the year. Living arrangements may include:
Live-in accommodations in Southampton during the summer months.
Staying with the father while the children are in his care (New York City or Southampton).
Staying with the mother while the children are in her care.
Independent accommodations may be provided when not actively working, depending on scheduling and location.

Annual Schedule & Locations
September – December
North Salem/Westchester, NY
New York City
The children primarily reside in North Salem while school is in session, with regular parenting transitions to the father’s residence in New York City and other agreed-upon locations.

January – April
Palm Beach County/Wellington, Florida
The children relocate to South Florida during the winter months, and the nanny will transition with them between both parents’ households.

Late Spring & Summer
Southampton, NY
North Salem, NY

The nanny will continue caring for the children while they transition between both parents throughout the summer. Live-in accommodations are provided in Southampton. The family may also travel internationally during portions of the summer, requiring flexibility for both domestic and international travel.

The nanny’s primary responsibility is to provide continuity and consistency as the children transition between both parents’ homes throughout the year. The ideal candidate is warm, nurturing, organized, discreet, highly adaptable, dependable, and enjoys travel. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who values becoming an important part of a family’s support system while maintaining professionalism, flexibility, and respect for both households.

The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, an excellent communicator, a self-starter who anticipates needs, and thrives in a dynamic environment. They should be comfortable working respectfully within two households, maintaining complete confidentiality, and supporting high-profile families with discretion.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first, always.
Providing attentive, loving care for two young children.
Maintaining consistent routines and continuity of care between both households.
Collaborating with both parents to ensure seamless communication regarding schedules, appointments, activities, travel, and transitions.
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
Managing all aspects of the children’s laundry.
Organizing the children’s bedrooms, play areas, closets, toys, and belongings.
Cleaning children’s bottles, dishes, and supplies.
Packing diaper bags and restocking children’s daily essentials.
Packing and unpacking the children’s belongings for travel and transitions between households.
Assisting with naps, bedtime routines, and maintaining consistent daily schedules.
Supporting age-appropriate developmental activities through reading, outdoor play, learning opportunities, and enrichment.
Maintaining the children’s clothing, toys, medications, school supplies, comfort items, travel essentials, and other belongings across both households to ensure smooth transitions.
Preparing everything needed before transitions so each parent receives the children with all necessary belongings that are clean, organized, and ready to go.
Driving the children safely to and from school, activities, appointments, airports, and other destinations as needed.
Coordinating travel days and assisting with transitions between homes.
Maintaining the children’s spaces in excellent condition through organization and ongoing upkeep.
Anticipating the family’s needs and proactively ensuring the children’s environments remain organized, well-stocked, and prepared.

Additional Position Expectations:
This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys traveling and embraces a flexible lifestyle. The nanny should be comfortable flying frequently, adapting to changing schedules, and traveling with either parent depending on the children’s schedule.
There may be occasions where one parent prefers the nanny accompany them during parenting time, while on other occasions the parent may choose to spend independent time with the children. The successful candidate understands that no two weeks are identical and is comfortable adapting to the evolving needs of the family.

Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Minimum of five (5) years of professional nanny experience.
Extensive experience caring for infants and toddlers.
Excellent professional references.
Clean driving record.
Background check required.
Valid driver’s license.
Valid passport.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including internationally.
Professional, discreet, and able to maintain complete confidentiality.
Comfortable working collaboratively within two co-parenting households
