Amazing Nanny Needed for Family On the Upper East Side

Location: Upper East Side
Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 7:15 am – 6:15 pm. (55 hours a week)
Compensation: $30-$40/hr., depending on experience. This is a payroll position.
Number of Kids: 2 children, 4 years old and 6 months old
Start: ASAP
Travel Required: Same, should be passport-ready. (No travels this year.)

A caring family residing in the Upper East Side seeks an exceptional nanny for their two children, aged 4 and 6 months. The ideal candidate has experience caring for infants and school-age kids, knowledge of developmental milestones, and the ability to foster a nurturing and enriching atmosphere for their little ones. The candidate should prioritize safety, exude confidence, possess excellent communication skills, be punctual, and demonstrate the ability to solve problems independently. In August, the family spends a week in the Hamptons, so the nanny is expected to join. Meal preparation for the children is expected. A clean driver’s license is a requirement, and candidates with an Early Childhood Degree are preferred.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prioritizing safety at all times.
Maintaining a clean, calm, and nurturing environment for the children's optimal growth.
Adhering to the families' parenting styles and childcare philosophies.
Engaging children in activities fostering intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts, while encouraging milestones.
Facilitating social interaction through playdates and group activities.
Ability to prepare meals for the children, including giving baby bottles and solids, and cooking for 4-year-olds.
Keeping the children's bedroom and play areas tidy.
Performing household tasks such as children's laundry and assisting with light housekeeping.

Qualifications:
● Legally authorized to work in the United States.
● A minimum of 4 years of professional nanny experience.
● Proficiency in caring for infants and toddlers.
● Proficiency in caring for Pre-K children.
● Background in Early Childhood Development is a plus.
● Driver’s License is a plus.
● Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
● CPR and First-Aid certifications.
