A private family of 6 in Westport, CT is looking for a passionate, professional nanny who can easily connect with their 4 children of ages 6 months, 2 years, 4 years and 6 years old. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience working with multiple children of different age ranges. In addition, the nanny must be kind, playful, with the ability to initiate an engaging, fun, and stimulating atmosphere for their children. Such as interacting, facilitating fun and safe activities, coordinating family calendar, keeping their things organized, and more.

The nanny must be loving, respectful, energetic, proactive, a self-starter, and know how to troubleshoot issues independently. Having a clean driving record is required. Having good cooking skills and willingness to work in a kosher household is required. The candidate must be able to focus on the children’s educational developments. Lastly, both parents have flexible schedules to work from home. The nanny must be comfortable working in close partnership with both parents.

This position is full-time, live-out:
The weekly schedule is Monday through Friday (40-50 hrs. a week.).
Additional hours may be required with notice. So, an ideal candidate who is flexible.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position is paid gross with overtime. This position is $35-$45 per hour, PTO (e.g, paid federal holidays (that are also bank holidays. In general, if the financial markets are open, nanny will be expected to work), two weeks of vacation, and sick days.) A discretionary performance bonus.

Start Date: Begins on 05/26/2023 - 06/26/23. This is a long-term role.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of their children
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Manage daily care and supervision of their children.
Adhere to their children’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups, and any plan playdates and after-school activities.)
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, stories, puzzles, overlooking any schoolwork, etc.)
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes.
Ability to plan fun activities, keeping their children active and engaged.
Ability to make simple meals for their children.
Manage all aspects of their children’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes after laundry, cleaning toys/books, diaper bags, etc.

Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 5 years of professional Nanny experience
Newborn experience
Toddler experience
Pre-K experience
Multiple Children experience
Driver’s License
Basic Cooking Skills and willingness to adhere to rules of a kosher kitchen
Must know how to swim
Up to date on all vaccinations
CPR and First-Aid certifications
