Amazing Nanny Needed Part-time 4 Days a Week in Brooklyn Heights

Family’s Location: Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn, NY
Number of Children and Ages: 1 child, 4-year-old boy
Type of Position: Part-time, live-out
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Compensation & Benefits: $35/hr paid gross with overtime. PTO includes paid federal holidays, 2 weeks of vacation
Start Date: As soon as the family finds the right fit

A private family in Brooklyn Heights is seeking a fantastic, energetic nanny to care for their curious and active 4-year-old son. Both parents have demanding, high-performing careers and periodically work from home. They are very engaged in their son’s life and are looking for a nanny who can work in partnership with them and adapt to a collaborative caregiving approach.

The ideal candidate is high-energy, engaging, and truly enjoys working with preschool-aged children. They’re looking for someone who will foster learning through play, nurture creativity, and encourage exploration—someone who can reinforce what he’s learning at school, support his social development, and join him in the playground with enthusiasm. Privacy is very important to the family, so the nanny must be respectful and mindful not to share photos or any personal information about the child or family.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first
Planning and leading engaging, age-appropriate activities
After-school pickup
Preparing meals for the child
Child’s laundry
Supporting social development, attending playdates and classes
General tidiness related to the child
Following and respecting the parents’ approach to parenting and daily routines

Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Minimum of 3 years of professional full-time or part-time nanny experience
Experience with preschool-aged children
Up to date on all vaccinations
CPR and First Aid certified
