Family Location: West Village, Manhattan, NY.
Number of children and Age: 3 daughters, a 16-months-old, a three-year-old and newborn expected in December.
Type of Position: Full time, live out. Must be flexible.
Schedule: Mon-Friday 8am-6pm
Compensation & benefits: $35-$45+/hr. DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, 6 federal holidays and 5 sick days.).
Start Date: ASAP.

Additional info: The family is highly sensitive to artificial fragrances and is seeking someone who understands this and ideally already lives fragrance-free, as they know how challenging it can be to avoid exposure. They prefer candidates who embrace a natural, organic lifestyle.

A warm and loving family in West Village, Manhattan is seeking a kind and respectful nanny to care for their two daughters, with a new baby expected in December. The ideal candidate will have experience with newborns and preschool-aged children, as well as a solid understanding of developmental milestones.
The family values a nanny who is calm, nurturing, knowledgeable, and highly organized. It’s important that the nanny is respectful of and supportive toward the family’s parenting style and childcare preferences. Responsibilities will include preparing healthy meals for the children, assisting with organization and tidying up after them (the household has a housekeeper, but the nanny is expected to help maintain the children’s spaces), managing the children’s laundry, and cleaning bottles. The role requires someone dependable, adaptable, and attentive, as the mother is hands on and you will be tag teaming.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Prioritize safety while adhering to the families' parenting styles and childcare philosophies.
Ability to create healthy meals and snacks for the children.
Engage their newborn and toddlers in activities that promote intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts, and encourage social interaction through playdates and group activities.
Assist with bath times and changing clothes.
Assist with light housekeeping, clean dishes, organizing the children’s room and play area, diaper bag, bottle and pacifiers sterilizing/cleaning is needed.
Perform related duties such as laundry, tidying the children's areas, organizing toys, and books, and maintaining diaper bags.
When Infant arrives
Preparing, sterilizing, and cleaning bottles; safely handling breast milk or formula; and assisting with feeding schedules.
Following nap schedules, soothing the baby to sleep, and monitoring safe sleep practices.
Regular diaper changes, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the baby’s comfort.
Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience.
Experience in caring for newborns & infants.
Is comfortable providing care to multiple children.
Knowledgeable in the Waldorf approach.
Natural, organic lifestyle is preferred.
Should be fragrance-free.
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
