Number of children and Age: Care is needed for two children, a 5-month-old son and a 2-year-old daughter, with the infant being the primary responsibility. The 2-year-old daughter has a nanny of her own.
Type of Position: Full time, Live out. Must be flexible.
Schedule: Under discussion (40-50 hrs.).
Compensation & benefits: $30-$32/hr. DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, 6 federal holidays and 5 sick days.).
Start Date: ASAP.
Travel Required: Yes.

Family Overview:
A private family in Upper West Side, Manhattan, NY, is seeking a blissful and loving nanny to care for their 5-month-old son. The family is looking for a nanny that has experience with infants, having a firm understanding of their developmental milestones. The right candidate must be able to facilitate fun and safe intellectual activities for their son.
The family is looking for someone who is initiative, knowledgeable, flexible, and highly organized. Must be willing to assist the parents when needed. The nanny should be respectful and supportive of the family’s parenting style and childcare preferences.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Provide attentive, nurturing, and safety-focused care for an infant at all times
Follow the family’s parenting preferences, routines, and childcare philosophies
Prepare bottles, infant meals, and snacks as appropriate, and support feeding routines
Maintain consistent nap and sleep schedules
Change diapers and clothing, and assist with bathing and daily hygiene needs
Engage the child in age-appropriate developmental activities such as reading, music, sensory play, and interactive play
Support early learning and social development through play, conversation, and exploration
Arrange and supervise playdates or outings when appropriate
Provide occasional care and supervision for a toddler, including play and routine support
Keep children’s areas clean and organized, including toys, nursery, and play spaces
Handle child-related housekeeping tasks such as washing bottles/dishes, children’s laundry, and restocking diaper bags
Monitor supplies and communicate needs (diapers, wipes, food items, etc.)
Communicate regularly with parents about routines, milestones, and daily activities
Ensure a positive, calm, and supportive environment for both children


Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience.
Experience in caring for infants and toddlers.
Must be willing and able to travel.
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
