Creative + Patient Nanny Sought for Curious Upper West Side Toddler

Family’s Location: Upper West Side
Ages of children: 1 kid, 14 months old.
Type of Position: Live-Out, Full-time Nanny Position
Schedule: Monday-Friday, from 8 am - 6 pm
Compensation & Benefits: The family is offering $25-$32. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, most federal holidays and 5 sick days.)
Start Date: July 15th.
Additional Info: Both parents work from home a few days a week, so the nanny should be comfortable with work-from-home parents

A loving family on the Upper West Side is looking for a gentle, amazing nanny for their 14-month-old son. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has many years of experience working with toddlers. Someone who is calm, soft-spoken, and passionate about childcare and child development. The candidate should be tech-savvy, able to create an engaging, happy, and stimulating atmosphere for their son. The nanny must be proactive, a self-starter, and know how to troubleshoot issues independently. Lastly, Both parents work from home a few days a week, so nanny should be comfortable with work from home parents.

Position Responsibilities:
Prioritize safety at all times, maintain a clean environment for the child. Engage the child in activities that promote intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts. Encourage social interaction through playdates and group activities. Manage the child’s daily routines, including meals, playdates, and nap times. Handle feeding, including transitioning to solids. Encouraging using sippy cups and forks and spoons. Perform related duties such as the child’s laundry, tidying the child’s areas, organizing toys/books, and maintaining diaper bags.

Qualifications:
Legal authorization to work in the US.
A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience.
Proficiency in caring for infants and toddlers.
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications.
