Number of children and Age: 1 child, their infant daughter. She’ll be 4 months old at the starting date.
Type of Position: Full-time, live-out. Must be flexible.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (45-hrs). Offering one unpaid day off monthly by mutual agreement. The schedule could change.
Compensation & benefits: $28-$32/hr. DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, 6 federal holidays and 5 sick days.).
Start Date: 02/02/26.
Travel Required: No.

A loving family in Montclair, NJ, is seeking a gentle, experienced nanny for their infant daughter, who will be 4 months old at the start of the position. The ideal candidate has a strong background in infant care and a solid understanding of developmental milestones, and can create safe, engaging activities that encourage growth and curiosity.

The nanny should be nurturing, trustworthy, organized, proactive, and able to work independently while remaining respectful and supportive of the family’s parenting style. Strong communication skills and active engagement with the child are essential. Responsibilities include managing the child’s daily schedule and routines, light housekeeping related to the child, her laundry, and bottle cleaning.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Provide attentive, high-quality infant care, ensuring the baby’s safety, comfort, and well-being at all times.
• Support the child’s developmental milestones through engaging, age-appropriate play and activities. (e.g., tummy time, reading, music, introducing colors etc.) Taking the child outside for walks weather permitting and to classes /museums/play dates/playground.
• Ability to handle bottle feedings, sterilizing bottles and chew toys.
• Within a few months: prepare age-appropriate solid foods and ensure safe eating.
• Adhere to their daughter’s schedule as time progresses (e.g., class, playdates and other activities.)
• Assist with bath times and changing clothes.
• Assist with light housekeeping and upkeep, clean dishes, clean common surfaces, organizing their daughter’s room and play area, diaper bag, bottle and pacifiers sterilizing/cleaning is needed.
• Handle laundry, tidying their daughter's areas, organizing toys and books, and maintaining diaper bags.

Qualifications:
• US, Work Authorization
• Minimum of 3 years of professional Nanny experience
• Must have a driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Up to date on all vaccinations
• Flu vaccination and covid booster
• CPR and First-Aid certifications
