Energetic Part-time Nanny Wanted for Greenwich, CT Family

A caring family in Greenwich, CT, seeks a vibrant, affectionate part-time nanny for their 10 and 8-year-old daughters. They are looking for someone experienced in working with school-age kids, adept at fostering a secure, enjoyable, and interactive atmosphere. The ideal candidate should be able to help with homework, manage transportation to various activities, possess confidence, kindness, reliability, punctuality, initiative, self-sufficiency in troubleshooting, and great/safe driving skills.

Since the girls are in school for most of the day, the candidate will arrive earlier to assist in various household activities and errands that are needed. Ultimately, the family would love a candidate capable of embodying an older sisterly presence for the daughters.

This position part-time and live-out:
The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
Additional hours may be required with notice. So, an ideal candidate who is flexible.

Pet Care:
The family has two small dogs.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position is paid gross with overtime. This position is $30-$35 per hour, PTO (e.g, paid federal holidays, two weeks of vacation, and sick days.)
A discretionary performance bonus.

Covid Risk Tolerance:
The family is open about Covid.

Start Date: Begins on 01/15/2024. This is a long-term role.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Manage daily care and supervision of their daughters
Adhere to their daughter’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups, and any after-school activities.)
Homework help
Ability to plan fun activities, keeping their daughters active and engage
Ability to make/prep meals
Care for/organizing the children’s belongings.
Laundry for the children
Encouraging children, and assisting, in evening routines of bathing/reading/bedtime

Qualifications:
U.S Work Authorization
Minimum of 3 years of professional Nanny experience
School-age children experience
Clean Driver’s License
Reliable vehicle to get to work.
Covid vaccination
CPR and First-Aid certifications
Comfortable around dogs
