Families Location: Greenwich Village
Number of children and Age: 2 children, 2.5 year-old and 1-year-old boy
Type of Position: Full-time, Live out
Weekly Schedule: The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am - 6:30 pm, (57.5 hours)
Compensation: $127,000 PTO (e.g, paid federal holidays, two weeks of vacation, and sick days.) A discretionary performance bonus.
Start Date: ASAP
Travel Required: Yes. Must be passport-ready

Family Overview
A warm family residing in Greenwich Village is in search of an affectionate and engaging nanny for their 2.5 year-old daughter who is part-time in nursery school; 1-year-old son. The ideal candidate has a warm, loving, and gentle approach and is confident in her child development knowledge for milestones and age-appropriate activities. They are looking for someone energetic with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to consistently use proper English grammar.

Essential qualities include kindness, initiative, punctuality, proactive problem-solving abilities, and the capability to independently address various situations that may arise. Given a parent's compromised immunity, the selected candidate must comfortably and willingly acquire all necessary vaccinations, updating them yearly as required. Nanny should be passport-ready with a willingness to travel is a vital requirement for this role.


Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Prioritize safety as the foremost concern for a toddler and preschooler well-being.
Contribute to maintaining cleanliness and organization within the children's areas
Align with parents' childcare approach and embrace their parenting style
Manage daily care and supervision of both children, playdates, and after-school activities
Foster intellectual development through activities involving language, numbers, stories, puzzles, and assisting with schoolwork
Facilitate social development by helping the children build connections, organizing playdates, and attending classes
Plan and execute engaging activities to keep the children active and involved
Prepare simple meals for the children, bottle feeding the newborn and introducing the baby to solids.
Handle children's laundry and maintain their belongings with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks, clothes, toys, books, diaper bags, etc.


Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 5 years of professional Nanny experience
Infant through Pre-K children experience
Multiple children experience
Must be Covid, Flu and Tdap vaccinated, and willing to get yearly boosters.
CPR and First-Aid certifications
Driver’s License is a plus
