Engaging Nanny for Sweet 5-Month-Old in Brooklyn Crown Heights

Families Location: Crown Heights, Brooklyn, NY
Number of children and Age: 1 child, 5-month-old daughter.
Type of Position: Full-time, live out. Flexibility is a plus.
Schedule: Monday – Fridays, from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hrs).
Compensation & benefits: $30-$40 hr. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, most federal holidays, and five sick days.)
Start Date: ASAP.
Travel Required: No.
Additional info: The family lives in a townhouse, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable going up and down stairs as part of their daily routine.

A loving family in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, NY is seeking an energetic and nurturing nanny to care for their 5-month-old daughter. The ideal candidate is well-spoken, proactive, and enjoys connecting with children. Prior experience caring for infants is required. This nanny will support the baby’s growth through safe, age-appropriate activities while helping her reach important developmental milestones in a warm, loving environment.

They are looking for someone kind, punctual, and active, who feels comfortable taking their daughter to classes and outdoor activities such as the Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Library, and Prospect Park. The parents work from home and live in a townhouse, so they are seeking a confident, self-motivated caregiver who can take initiative, manage the day independently, and remain respectful of a work-from-home household while providing attentive, thoughtful care.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Provide attentive, age-appropriate care for an infant
Support developmental milestones through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities
Establish and maintain consistent routines for feeding, naps, and play
Plan and facilitate age-appropriate outings, walks, and future playdates
Encourage early learning through reading, music, and sensory play, flash cards, and introducing colors.
Taking daughter to park and other fun outdoor activities
Prepare meals and bottles as needed, including proper cleaning and sanitizing
Handle light housekeeping related to the child’s care and play areas
Manage the family’s laundry and organization of clothing and supplies
Communicate regularly with parents regarding daily activities, milestones, and needs
Run occasional child-related errands as needed
Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment at all times

Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience.
Experience in caring for newborn and infants.
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
A college educated nanny is a huge plus.
