Family In Greenwich Village Is Seeking A Devoted And Caring Spanish-speaking Nanny

A loving, busy family is looking for a proactive, warm, and professional Spanish-speaking nanny for almost 3 and 7 years when the position starts. Ideally, they would like someone caring, enjoys cooking, is organized, and is a great team player. This is a long-term role.

The ideal candidate has a pitch-in attitude and is comfortable speaking Spanish or Mandarin to the children. Their parents need someone proactive in doing fun and enriching things with the kids when they are not in school. When the children are in school, there will be a requirement for the candidate to do light housework, laundry for the whole family, cooking, grocery shopping, and keeping things organized. The family spends the summer in Bellport, NY

This is a full-time, live-out position.
Monday-Friday 7:45 am-7 pm (56.25 hours/week)
Additional hours may be required with advance notice. An ideal candidate is someone with some flexibility.

Traveling Details
Able to work in Manhattan during the school year and in Bellport, NY (Long Island) during the summer. July/August. Have room with bathroom. You are welcome to commute there daily. Beside the summer in Bellport, the family does not often travel with the Nanny

Compensation & Benefits
$30-35/hr or $1731.25-$2,253 Gross before taxes on 56.25 hours per week.
Healthcare contribution, and PTO, including paid federal holidays. There are two weeks of vacation and a discretionary performance bonus.

Start Date: This is a long-term role. The expected date is June.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of the children
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Your typical nanny duties will involve everything about the children, including bringing them to school, playdates, and other planned activities; preparing meals and doing laundry for the family since both children are in school; and helping the children keep their belongings and rooms tidy. Ability to make fresh meals for the kids.
With cooking, it would be great for them to prepare healthy snacks, innovate new recipes, and help the family enjoy healthier and more diverse eating as a family.
Run errands
Comfortable with light housekeeping, like loading/unloading the dishwasher.


Qualifications
US, Work Authorization
Spanish & Mandarin Speaking
Ability to Drive when in Bellport
At least 5 years of professional Full-time or Part-time childcare experience
Comfortable cooking for children
CPR and First-Aid certifications
