
Full-Time, Live-In Nanny Needed for Infant Gramercy (Flexible)

Number of Children and Age: 1 child, 5-month-old boy (older sibling has a separate nanny)
Type of Position: Full-time, live-in (Thursday–Monday; 5 working days with option to live-in 7 days)
Schedule: Idea schedule is Thursday–Monday; days off Tuesday & Wednesday (Days of the week are flexible but ideally covering weekends) However, the family is open to a different 5 day schedule.
Compensation & Benefits: $30–$35/hr DOE. Includes health insurance, 401k, paid vacation, sick days, and federal holidays.

Travel Required: Yes — must be passport-ready and comfortable traveling domestically and internationally with the family

A warm and welcoming family in Gramercy, Manhattan is seeking an experienced and travel-ready live-in nanny to care for their 5-month-old son. The position is full-time, Thursday through Monday, with the option to live-in seven days a week. (However, the family is open to a different 5 day schedule. ) The family has an older child with a dedicated nanny, so your sole focus will be the infant. They are looking for a loving, highly experienced nanny who is familiar with infant developmental stages, routines, and milestones. The ideal candidate is nurturing, responsible, and thrives in a team environment. Someone who is proactive, professional, and deeply knowledgeable in infant care will be a strong match. The family travels frequently, so a nanny who is flexible, passport-ready, and eager to travel is essential. The family deeply values reliability, discretion, and excellent communication.
Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensure infant’s safety and well-being at all times
Maintain a consistent feeding, sleep, and activity schedule
Support developmental milestones (tummy time, sensory play, etc.)
Diapering, dressing, and maintaining general infant hygiene
Sterilizing bottles and baby items
Baby laundry and organizing baby’s room/gear
Keeping a detailed log of the baby’s day (feeds, naps, changes, etc.)
Packing and preparing for travel with baby
Collaborating with other household staff as needed
Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States
At least 3 years of professional nanny experience, with a strong infant background
CPR & First Aid certified
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19 & booster)
Passport-ready and able to travel
Comfortable living in and working collaboratively in a staffed household
Discreet, flexible, organized, and dependable
