Full time Nanny Needed for Family in Fairfield, CT

A loving family in Fairfield, CT is looking for a spry, nurturing nanny for their two children, almost 3-years-old son, and a 7-months-old daughter. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience with multiple children, with age ranging from infant to pre-k. Their son attends preschool in the morning and engages in afterschool activities. Their baby daughter will require the necessary childcare needs for her development and long-term happiness.
The nanny must be loving, organized, reliable, punctual, proactive, a self-starter, and know how to troubleshoot issues independently. Driving is important for this role; they must drive their son to and from school and his afterschool activities. A clean driving record is required.
This position is a flexible, full-time live-out:
The schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 am – 6:00 pm (42 hours a week).
Additional hours may be required with notice. So, an ideal candidate who is flexible.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position is paid gross with overtime. This position is $25-$30 per hour, PTO (e.g, paid federal holidays, two weeks of vacation, and sick days.)
A discretionary performance bonus.
Covid Risk Tolerance:
The ideal candidate would be vaccinated and would take reasonable steps to help prevent spreading germs (wear a mask if she has the sniffles/cough).
Start Date: Begins in January of 2024. This is a long-term role.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of their children
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Manage daily care and supervision of their children
Adhere to their children’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups, and any plan playdates and after-school activities.)
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, stories, puzzles, overlooking any schoolwork, etc.)
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes
Ability to plan fun activities, keeping their children active and engage
Ability to make very simple meals for their children.
Laundry for their children.
Manage all aspects of their children’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes after laundry, cleaning toys/books, etc.
Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 5 years of professional Nanny experience
Infant children experience
Toddler children experience
Pre-K children experience
Multiple children experience
Driver’s License
Up to date on all vaccinations
Ideally Covid vaccination and boosted
CPR and First-Aid certifications
