Fun and Loving Nanny Needed On The UWS

A loving family on the Upper West Side is looking for an amazing, energetic nanny for their children, ages 4 yr old, 18 months old, and newborn in Feb. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with experience working with multiple children. Someone playful yet firm that can create a safe and stimulating atmosphere for the children. (e.g., reading to children, playing with them, planning activities, coordinating family calendar, keeping children active, keeping their things organized, and more.)

The nanny must be professional, creative, proactive, a self-starter, and know how to troubleshoot issues independently. Lastly, the nanny must be comfortable working with a busy but hands-on family, be an experienced driver and is comfortable traveling with the family.
This position is a live-out position:
The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 11:00 AM - 6:00/7 PM Additional hours may be required with notice. So, an ideal candidate who is flexible.
The family travels to the Hamptons, so a nanny is expected to join over the Summer. There will be a separate room and bath.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position is paid gross with overtime. This position is $35 per hour, PTO (e.g., paid federal holidays, two weeks of vacation, and sick days.)
A discretionary performance bonus.
Private Bedroom, including private bathroom when traveling.
Mileage Reimbursement
Start Date: Begins on 01/16/2023. This is a long-term role.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of the children
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Manage daily care and supervision of the children
Adhere to the children’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups,  and any plan playdates and after-school activities.)
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, stories, puzzles, overlooking any school work, etc.)
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes
Ability to plan fun activities, keeping the children active and engage
Ability to make very simple meals for the children.
Laundry for the children.
Manage all aspects of the children’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes after laundry, cleaning toys/books, diaper bags, etc.
Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 5 years of professional Nanny experience
Pre-K experience
Toddler experience
Driver’s License
Passport
Must know how to swim
Up to date on all vaccinations
Covid vaccination and boosted
CPR and First-Aid certifications
