Families Location: Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY
Number of children and Age: 1 child, 14 weeks old son.
Type of Position: Full time, live out.
Schedule: Monday – Fridays, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hrs).
Compensation & benefits: $30-$40/hr. DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, 6 federal holidays and 5 sick days.)
Start Date: 09/15/2025
Travel Required: No.

Family Overview:
A warm and loving family in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY is seeking an energetic, gentle nanny to care for their son, who will be 5 months old in September. They are looking for a candidate who will bring experience in infants and toddlers along with a solid understanding of developmental milestones. The family has established a solid feed and nap routine for their son and values someone who can follow it consistently, while also collaborating with them and providing guidance as they tackle upcoming milestones as first time parents. They’re looking for a nanny who is engaging, creates a warm and safe environment, and encourages their son’s growth and curiosity.

The ideal candidate is nurturing, communicative, energetic, knowledgeable, and highly organized. The nanny should be respectful of the family’s parenting style and childcare preferences. Fluency in another language is a plus.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Prioritize safety while respecting the family’s parenting style and childcare approach.
Prepare bottles, and support the introduction of solid foods as developmentally appropriate.
Engage the baby in age-appropriate sensory and developmental activities—such as music, tummy time, storytelling, and early social interaction through playdates.
Assist with daily routines, including diaper changes, bath time, and dressing.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baby’s areas, including the nursery, play space, and diaper bag.
Handle light housekeeping related to the child, such as washing bottles, sterilize feeding items and chew toys, baby laundry, and tidying toys and books.

Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience.
Experience in caring for newborns & infant
Must be able to make basic meals for their son
Early childhood training/background is a huge bonus
Foreign Language (any) is a bonus
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
