Gentle + Engaging Nanny Needed for Family in Greenwich Village

Family’s Location: Greenwich Village
Ages of children: 1 kid, 2 years old.
Type of Position: Live-Out, Full-time Nanny Position
Schedule: Monday-Friday, from 9 am - 4 pm
Compensation & Benefits: The family is offering $28-$33. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, most federal holidays and 5 sick days.)
Start Date: Late July start.
Additional Info: The family has a small dog, and the nanny should be comfortable around dogs.

A loving family in Greenwich Village is looking for a gentle, amazing nanny for their 2-year-old son. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has many years of experience working with toddlers. Someone who is calm, soft-spoken, and passionate about childcare and child development. The candidate should be tech-savvy, able to create an engaging, happy, and stimulating atmosphere for him. The nanny must be proactive, a self-starter, and know how to troubleshoot issues independently.

Position Responsibilities:
P\rioritize safety at all times, maintain a clean environment for the child. Engage the child in activities that promote intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts. Encourage social interaction through playdates and group activities. Manage the child’s daily routines, including meals, playdates, and nap times. Preparing healthy meal and snacks, potty training, Perform related duties such as the child's laundry, tidying the child's areas, organizing toys/books, and maintaining diaper bags.

Qualifications:
Legal authorization to work in the US.
A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience.
Proficiency in caring for infants and toddlers.
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications.
