Type of Position: Full time, Live out. Must be flexible.
Schedule: Tentative (40-45 hrs).
Compensation & benefits: $30-$40 DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, federal holidays and 5 sick days.).
Start Date: ASAP.
Travel Required: No.

A warm and loving family in Port Washington, NY, is seeking a nurturing and attentive nanny to care for their 3-month-old daughter. They’re hoping to find someone with hands-on infant experience who truly enjoys supporting early development and helping little ones reach important milestones.

The ideal candidate is calm, communicative, organized, and genuinely loving. This family values open collaboration and is looking for someone who will respectfully support their parenting style and childcare preferences while creating a safe, comforting environment for their daughter.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Provide attentive, nurturing, and safety-focused care for an infant at all times
Follow the family’s parenting preferences, routines, and childcare philosophies
Prepare bottles, infant meals, and snacks as appropriate, and support feeding routines
Maintain consistent nap and sleep schedules
Change diapers and clothing, and assist with bathing and daily hygiene needs
Engage their daughter in age-appropriate developmental activities such as reading, music, sensory play, nature walks, and interactive play.
Support early learning and social development through play, conversation, and exploration
Arrange and supervise outings when appropriate
Provide care and supervision for an infant, including play and routine support
Keep their daughter’s areas clean and organized, including toys, nursery, and play spaces
Handle child-related housekeeping tasks such as washing bottles/dishes, restocking diaper bags and station.
Monitor supplies and communicate needs (diapers, wipes, food items, etc.)
Communicate regularly with parents about routines, milestones, and daily activities
Ensure a positive, calm, and supportive environment for their daughter

Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience.
Experience in caring for infants, and toddlers.
Must have a driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
