Live-In Cook & Housekeeper , Chinese Cuisine and Child-Friendly

Families Location: Livingston, NJ
Number of children and Age: 1 child, 10 months old daughter. Must be comfortable around children.
Type of Position: Full time, Live-in. With the opportunity of a 7-day live in.
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM (or 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) (55-60|hrs a week).
Compensation & benefits: $100k-140k annually. DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, 6 federal holidays and 5 sick days.).

Family Overview:
A warm and welcoming family is seeking a dependable Live-In Housekeeper/Cook to join their household. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Chinese cuisine and able to prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and baby food for their newborn. Alongside cooking, this role includes housekeeping duties to ensure the home is clean, safe, and well-organized.

This is a live-in role, with flexibility for 5 or 7 days per week. Daily working hours are typically 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM (or 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), so excellent time management and multitasking are essential. The right candidate will be child-friendly, detail-oriented, and capable of managing household needs independently.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Plan and cook meals, preferably Chinese Cuisine (breakfast, lunch, dinner) for the family.
Prepare nutritious baby food for a newborn.
Handle all kitchen tasks, including grocery planning, organization, and cleaning up after meals.
Perform housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, ironing, and tidying all living areas.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment.
Balance responsibilities with strong time management skills.
Be child-friendly and comfortable in a household with a newborn.
Communicate with the family regarding preferences, schedules, and daily needs.


Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 3 years of professional housekeeping/cook experience
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
