Live-out Nanny Needed for Toddler In Queens, NY

A loving and intellectual family in Laurelton, NY, is looking for an energetic, educated, and punctual nanny for their toddler daughter. Their daughter is curious, loving, and a fast learner who enjoys watching Cocomelon and loves to play with her toys and the family’s dog. Both parents will work from home from time to time. So, if a parent works at home, the nanny must be comfortable tag-teaming with both of them.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience working with toddlers. Infantry experience is a huge plus because the family plans on growing. Someone who is caring, energetic, and punctual. They must also be able to create an engaging, happy, and stimulating atmosphere for their daughter. The nanny must be proactive, a self-starter, and know how to troubleshoot issues independently.
This is a live-out position.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:15 AM - 6:15 PM. (50/hrs. work week) Additional hours may be required with notice. So, an ideal candidate who is flexible.
Compensation & Benefits
This position is paid gross with overtime after 40 hours.. This position is $30 hour, PTO, including paid federal holidays. There are two weeks of vacation and a discretionary performance bonus.
Covid Risk Tolerance:
The family is extremely strict about Covid. The nanny is expected to take the rapid Covid test weekly. This will be provided by the family.
Start Date: Begins on January 30, 2023, or as soon as the family finds the best fit. This is a long-term role.
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of their daughter
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Manage daily care and supervision of their daughter
Adhere to their daughter’s schedule (e.g., activity drop-off and pick-ups, etc.).
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, stories, puzzles, etc.)
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes
Ability to make very healthy meals for their daughter.
Laundry for their daughter.
Manage all aspects of their daughter’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes, cleaning toys/books, diaper bags, etc.
Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 3 years of professional Nanny experience
Newborn/Toddler experience
Basic Tech Savvy
Must know how to swim
Up to date on all vaccinations
Covid vaccinated and boosted
CPR and First-Aid certifications
