Loving, Part-Time Nanny Needed in Downtown Brooklyn

An affluent family in Brooklyn, NY, is looking for an engaging nanny to care for their 4 and 6-year-old boys. The children are in school, so ideally, they are looking for someone who can come in, straighten their things, prepare lunch, pick up boys from school, bring them to after-school activities, and accompany them for playdates.

The schedule is Monday through Friday from 1 pm to 7 pm, but the family can add additional hours if the candidate is open to date night. Lastly, the candidate must be fun and caring, a self-starter who can troubleshoot issues independently, especially since their parents both works.

This position is a Full-time, Live-out:
• The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits:
• This position is paid gross with overtime. This position is $32-$40 per hour PTO (e.g., paid federal holidays, two weeks of vacation, and sick days.)

Start Date: March 15th 2024

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Safety first.
• Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style.
• Manage daily care and supervision of their children
• Adhere to their children’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups, and any after-school activities.)
• Homework help
• Ability to plan fun activities, keeping their children active and engage
• Ability to make/prep meals.
• Care for/organizing the children’s belongings.
• Laundry for the children
• Encouraging children, and assisting, in evening routines of bathing/reading/bedtime
• Light housekeeping

Qualifications:
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have 4+ years of experience.
• Specializing in children aged 3-5+.
• A minimum of three wonderful references
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Fully vaccinated. (COVID & Booster)
• Loving disposition.
