
Loving Family of 3 seeks 2 Rotational Nannies in Murray Hill

A loving family in Murray Hill, Manhattan, is looking for 2 amazing nannies to care for their 20-month-old son. This is a Rota schedule, each nanny will work 6 days on and 6 days off in rotation. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience working with infants and toddlers. Someone energetic, possesses a good attitude, with the talent to create an engaging, happy, and stimulating atmosphere for their child. Such as reading, talking, facilitating fun and safe activities, coordinating family calendar, keeping their things organized, and more.
The nanny must be kind, educated, empathetic, proactive, a self-starter, and know how to troubleshoot issues independently. Having basic tech savvy is required for this position. Driving is preferred, but not required. Lastly, both parents have flexible schedules to work from home. The nanny must be able to give the parent much needed quiet time, especially when hinted. Thus, the nanny must be comfortable working in close partnership with both parents.
This position is flexible. The position can be either live-in or live-out:
Rotational Schedule: 6 days on and 6 days off, 50-60 hours a week. Additional hours may be required with notice. So, an ideal candidate who is flexible.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position is paid gross with overtime. This position is $30-$40 (DOE) per hour, PTO (e.g, paid federal holidays, two weeks of vacation, and sick days.)
A discretionary performance bonus.

The family is moderate about Covid.
Start Date: Begins asap. This is a long-term role.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of their child
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Manage daily care and supervision of their child
Adhere to their child’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups, and any plan playdates and after-school activities.)
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, stories, puzzles, overlooking any schoolwork, etc.)
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes
Ability to plan fun activities, keeping their child active and engage
Ability to make very simple meals for their child.
Laundry for their child.
Manage all aspects of their child’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes after laundry, cleaning toys/books, diaper bags, etc.
Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 5 years of professional Nanny experience
Newborn and Toddler experience
Driver’s License
Associated Degree, or Higher is a huge plus
Basic Tech Savvy
Passport
Traveling experience
Must know how to swim
Up to date on all vaccinations
Covid vaccination and boosted
CPR and First-Aid certifications
