A private family residing in Woodbury, NY is in search of a dependable and patient nanny to care for their 3-month-old daughter. The ideal candidate for this position should possess experience in caring for newborns and have the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for the infant. This includes activities such as reading to the baby, interactive engagement, facilitating tummy time, planning developmental activities, and maintaining organization in the infant's belongings, among other responsibilities.

Key qualities for the nanny role include reliability, a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, a calm demeanor, proactive problem-solving abilities, and the capability to address challenges independently. Adherence to and respect for the parents' guidance and instructions are crucial. A clean driving record is a requirement. Additionally, both parents have the flexibility to work from home twice a week, so the nanny must be comfortable collaborating closely with both parents when they are present at home.

This position is full-time, live-out with hybrid potential:
The schedule is Monday through Friday, either 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm or 9:00 pm – 6:00 pm (40/45 hrs. a week).
Additional hours may be required with notice, covering some evenings or weekends. So, an ideal candidate who is flexible.

Pet Care:
The family has a Miniature Schnauzer that’s 12 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position is paid gross with overtime. This position is $25-$35 per hour, PTO (e.g, paid federal holidays, two weeks of vacation, and sick days.)
A discretionary performance bonus.

Covid Risk Tolerance:
The family wants all adults vaccinated.

Start Date: Begins asap. This is a long-term role.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of their daughter
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style and keeping child on a schedule agreed upon by the parents.
Manage daily care and supervision of their daughter
Adhere to their daughter’s schedule, nap, feeding schedule.
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, stories, puzzles, overlooking any schoolwork, etc.)
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes
Ability to plan fun activities, keeping their daughter active and engage
Ability to make very simple meals for their daughter.
Bathing
Laundry for their daughter.
Manage all aspects of their daughter’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes after laundry, cleaning toys/books, diaper bags, etc.

Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 5 years of professional Nanny experience
Newborn experience
Multiples experience
Driver’s license
Up to date on all vaccinations
Covid vaccination and boosted
CPR and First-Aid certifications
