Families Location: Long Island City, Queens, NY
Number of children and Age: 1 child (infant; 4 months old at start).
Type of Position: Full time, Live out.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
• April–August: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours/week)
• September onward: 45–48 hours/week
• Monday–Thursday: extended evenings (approx. until 6:30 PM)
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Flexibility required as schedule increases in the fall
Compensation & benefits: $30–$40/hr + guaranteed hours, paid holidays, PTO, OMNY pass, and additional benefits.
Start Date: April/May 2026 (flexible).
Travel Required: Yes, Occasional.

The ideal candidate is calm, experienced, and proactive, with a strong understanding of infant development and routines. They bring positive energy, sound judgment, and a nurturing presence to each day. This person is organized, communicative, and confident working both independently and alongside parents, while respecting the family’s preferences and parenting style.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Provide attentive, nurturing, and safety-focused care at all times
Manage infant routines, including feeding, naps, and developmental activities
Prepare bottles and, as the child grows, assist with simple meal prep
Engage the child in age-appropriate play that supports development
Maintain a calm, structured, and predictable environment
Keep child-related areas clean and organized (toys, bottles, laundry, etc.)
Monitor supplies and communicate needs to parents
Partner with parents to support routines, preferences, and milestones


Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Minimum of 3+ years of professional nanny experience
Strong experience caring for infants
Knowledge of infant development and routines (sleep, feeding, milestones)
CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to renew upon hire)
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, MMR)
Strong communication skills, reliability, and professionalism
Mandarin or Korean language skills are a plus, but not required
