Loving Nanny Needed for Two Children in Newton, MA

A loving family of four in West Newton, Massachusetts is looking for an experienced, loving nanny to join their parenting team. Their family consists of two boys, ages 6 and 3 years of age. The oldest has ADHD. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with experience working with both multiple children of different ages and would be a huge plus if they specifically have experience with children with ADHD. In addition, the nanny must create a loving and stimulating atmosphere for the kids. Example reading, playing with them, making planning activities, coordinating the family calendar, keeping their things organized, and more. The nanny must be caring, communicative, proactive, a self-starter, and know how to troubleshoot issues independently. Lastly, one of the parents works from home. The nanny must be comfortable working in close partnership with the work-at-home parent.
This position is a live-out position:
The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM. (45/hrs a week.) Additional hours may be required with notice. So, an ideal candidate who is flexible.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position is paid gross with overtime. This position is $30-$35 per hour, PTO (e.g, spent federal holidays, two weeks of vacation, and sick days.)
A discretionary performance bonus.

Start Date: Begins asap. This is a long-term role.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of the children
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Manage daily care and supervision of the children.
Adhere to the children’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups, and any plan playdates and after-school activities.)
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, stories, puzzles, overlooking any school work, etc.)
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes
Ability to plan fun activities, keeping the children active and engage
Ability to make very simple meals for the children.
Laundry for the children.
Manage all aspects of the children’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes after laundry, cleaning toys/books, diaper bags, etc.
Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 5 years of professional Nanny experience
Multiple Children experience
Special Needs Children experience
Must know how to swim
Driver’s License
Up to date on all vaccinations
Covid vaccination and boosted
CPR and First-Aid certifications
