Loving Nanny Needed in Greenwich, CT

A kind and loving family in Greenwich, CT, is looking for a fantastic, college-educated nanny for their children. The family has a 4yr and 2-year-old, and they are described to be inquisitive, active, easy-going, and super loving. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience working with multiple children. Someone with lots of energy and with the ability to create an engaging, happy, and stimulating atmosphere for their children. The nanny must be proactive, a self-starter, and know how to troubleshoot issues independently.

This position is a live-out position:
The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. (40/hrs. work week) Additional hours may be required with notice. So an ideal candidate who is flexible.
Compensation & Benefits
This position is paid gross with overtime. This position is $30-$35 hour, PTO, including paid federal holidays. There are two weeks of vacation and a discretionary performance bonus.

Start Date: This is a long-term role. The position begins as soon as the family finds the right fit.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of the children
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Manage daily care and supervision of the children
Adhere to the children’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups, etc.)
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, stories, puzzles, etc.)
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes
Ability to make very simple meals for children.
Laundry for children.
Manage all aspects of the children’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes, cleaning toys/books, diaper bags, etc.
Qualifications:
● US, Work Authorization
● Minimum of 5 years of professional Nanny experience
● Newborn experience
● Driver License
● Associate Degree or Higher
● Up to date on all vaccinations
● Covid vaccinated and boosted
● CPR and First-Aid certifications
