A laid-back family in Brooklyn, NY is looking for an engaging, loving nanny for their three children aged 7-years-old, 3-years-old, and 9-months-old. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience working with multiple children and can successfully provide the proper care for each of them. In addition, the nanny must be able to create a fulfilling, loving, and stimulating environment for the children, including facilitating fun and safe activities, coordinating the family calendar, keeping their things organized, and more. It is also expected of candidate to perform basic light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and making meals for the children.
The nanny must be dependable, nurturing, organized, proactive, a self-starter, and know how to troubleshoot issues independently. Engagement with all the children is important.
Following and respecting the parent’s advice and instructions, especially when it comes to their youngest child, is important. The family tends to travel, so having a passport ready is needed for this position. Lastly, one of the parents has a flexible schedule to work from home. The nanny must be comfortable working in close partnership with one of the parents when they are at home.
This position is full-time, live-out:
The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (50 hrs. a week).
Additional hours may be required with notice. There may be occasional babysitting in the evenings. So, an ideal candidate who is flexible.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position is paid gross with overtime. This position is $30-$35 per hour, PTO (e.g, paid federal holidays, two weeks of vacation, and sick days.)
A discretionary performance bonus.

Start Date: Begins asap. This is a long-term role.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Safety first.
Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of their children
Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
Manage daily care and supervision of their children
Adhere to their children’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups, and any plan playdates and after-school activities.)
Facilitate intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, stories, puzzles, overlooking any schoolwork, etc.)
Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes
Ability to plan fun activities, keeping their children active and engage
Ability to make very simple meals for their children.
Laundry for their children.
Manage all aspects of their children’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes after laundry, cleaning toys/books, diaper bags, etc.
Qualifications:
US, Work Authorization
Minimum of 5 years of professional Nanny experience
Infant experience
Pre-K and older experience
Multiple children experience
Passport
Up to date on all vaccinations
Covid vaccination and boosted
CPR and First-Aid certifications
