Compensation & benefits: $35-$40/hr.

A loving family in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, NY, is seeking an energetic and fun-loving nanny. The family is looking for a nanny that has experience with special needs children, specifically ADHD with an impulsivity diagnosis, in addition to very mild ASD. The right candidate is expected to engage their son, creating fun and safe activities that are both physical and imaginative. The family is looking for someone who is spry, patience, kind, creative, and organized. The nanny should be respectful and supportive of the family’s parenting style and childcare preferences.
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Provide attentive, nurturing, and safety-focused care for their son at all times
Follow the family’s parenting preferences, routines, and childcare philosophies
Must transport their son from school, and to his afterschool activities
Prepare meals, and snacks for their son
Maintain his daily routines, including his scheduled afterschool activities
Provide occasional care and supervision for their son, including imaginative play and oversee his nightly homework
Keep their son’s areas clean and organized, including books, toys, and play spaces
Handle light housekeeping tasks, household errands, washing dishes, and their son’s laundry
Monitor supplies and communicate needs (food items, household supplies, etc.)
Ensure a positive, calm, and supportive environment for their son
Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience.
Experience in caring for school-age children with special needs.
A drivers license with a clean driving record is preferred but not required.
Must have passport and are willing to travel.
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
CPR and First-Aid certifications
